Clinical manifestations in older adults (> 65 years) have been associated with a significantly lower incidence of active lesions at the face and scalp, marginally significant lower incidence of flexural (including elbow and knee folds) lesions, and a higher incidence of lesions on the buttocks or genitals ( 8 , 9 ).
