To validate whether the PLK3 expression levels correlate with tumor radioresistance in PCa patients, we analyzed the gene expression dataset for patients with PCa treated with radiotherapy (n = 67, Dresden cohort 9 ) and found a statistical trend for the association of high PLK3 expression with lower relapse-free rates (p < 0.07) (Figure 7 A).
