For MRSA treated with 1 mg/mL PKEO, we recorded at a pH of 7.09 ± 0.01 after 24 h, whereas a value 7.32 ± 0.00 was obtained following treatment with 2 mg/mL PKEO, which is comparable with the pH of 7.39 ± 0.00 obtained for the positive control group treated with vancomycin, thereby indicating highly significant antibacterial and anti-acidogenic effects.
