From the above results, it was inferred that in primary dentition, on comparison of the mean shear bond strength values of composite resin, compomer, and resin-modified glass-ionomer cement, composite resin showed the highest mean shear bond strength (11.7 ± 3.07 MPa), which was significantly higher when compared to compomer (7.74 ± 4.16 MPa) and resin-modified glass-ionomer cement (4.43 ± 2.08 MPa), and the difference was found to be statistically highly significant ( P = 0.0001) [ Table 1 ].
