There is an increasing trend in neurodevelopmental disorders (behavioral, social competence, learning, and executive function disorders) that manifest later in childhood among preterm children, and therefore require long-term follow-up, at least until 6–7 years of age [ 3 , 32 , 33 , 34 , 35 , 36 , 37 , 38 , 39 , 40 , 41 , 42 ].
