[ 28 ] revealed that the incidence of PE and DVT among patients with COVID-19 who were screened/assessed for VTE (lower limb ultrasonography for DVT and CTA for PE) was 32% and 27%, respectively, with an increasing trend among patients admitted to ICU, most of whom received thromboprophylaxis.
