Additionally, carcinogenic CHCl 3 , toxic TBAI, and massive and expensive organic electrolytes are needed in the electrosynthesis process, causing sustainability and cost issues. Thus, it is highly significant to develop a sustainable electrolysis system for efficient α,α-dichloroketone electrocatalytic synthesis.
