In this study, by investigating the prevalence of GyVg1 in flocks of different ages in South China from 2020 to 2022, several characteristics of the virus can be summarized: (1) the positive rate of samples for GyVg1 showed an increasing trend between 2020 and 2022, especially in breeding chickens in 2022, which reached 20.60%.
