When split by age group, the proportion of immigrants increased from 43.2% to 53.4% in the age group < 35 years, from 37.1% to 49.0% between 35 to 44 years, nonetheless displaying an increasing trend with time in all age groups (from 3.4% to 12.9% also in subjects aged 65–74).
