Finally, the systemic response to increased glucocorticoid was estimated in Abcg1 cKO mice by quantifying 3 glucocorticoid target genes in the liver, ie, Gck , Pck1 , and G6pc ( 41-44 ), which showed a nonsignificant trend of increase compared to control and Abca1 cKO animals ( Fig. 4E ).
