One additional acoustic variable representing timing of speech (variability in pause length in reading passage , T -value 2.5, p -value 0.02) and one variable representing an aspect of voice quality (recurrence period density entropy in sustained vowel task , T -value 2.2, p -value 0.03) were significantly different between groups with moderate effect sizes but failed to reach significance after adjustment for multiple comparisons (see Fig. 1 ).
