In particular, rs2289277 is associated with TSLP expression in esophageal mucosa as the most highly significant eQTL among the allelic enhancer variants from TE-7 cells, while rs2607014 and rs7203793 are both of interest because of their association with multiple genes as eQTLs, through looping, and via the ABC model ( Data S5 ), suggestive of involvement in highly connected regulatory hubs.
