Similarly, another non-XBB lineage is monitored that is showing an increasing trend, DV.7.1, which appears to be especially common in Spain (364 of the 960 global sequences, September 2023), with a higher number of mutations (some with immune escape potential) and evolutionary divergence than observed in other lineages.
