Our study provides a reference for imaging, especially for individuals with an intermediate risk of recurrence, where PET/CT examination is highly significant. 33 , 34 With the current high recurrence rate of thyroid cancer, our research results may help reduce recurrence and improve post-surgery prognosis. 35 In later stages, monitoring the survival of patients with distant metastases after treatment can further refine patient management guidelines. 36 Our study has some limitations.
