The prevalence of domestic dog thelaziosis in the surrounding villages also showed an increasing trend year by year, and the density of Phortica spp. in the mountainous area increased sharply; these results indicate that there is a transmission cycle of T. callipaeda among wildlife in the mountainous areas of China [ 22 ].
