A highly significant statistical difference was observed between prescription status and the mean number of weekly and daily usage of bronchodilators, where patients who always reported over-the-counter bronchodilator use had a higher mean value (14.6 ± 13.4 and 3.2 ± 3.5 for weekly and daily usage, respectively).
