Efficacy is supported by the fact that 94% of eyes in the one-stage group and 95% in the two-stage group exhibited an UDVA ≥ 20/20 and the efficacy index at the last follow up was statistically significantly not different (one-stage 1.1 ± 0.2 vs. two-stage 1.2 ± 0.2).
