Results The repeated NTG injections induced hyperalgesia and upregulation of CGRP in TNC The basal mechanical thresholds of the periorbital region and hindpaw plantar area of the mice in both groups exhibited a decreasing trend after administration of NTG or NS, and the mechanical thresholds in the CM group were significantly lower than those in the VEH group on days 3, 5, 7, and 9 ( P < 0.05), indicating hyperalgesia in the CM group mice (Fig. 2 a).
