A study using the EBMT registry found that some types of NHL, like plasmablastic lymphoma, had a higher risk of relapse compared to DLBCL (relative risk, 3.4%; 95% confidence interval, 1.1% to 10.4%; P.03) and a possible trend toward worse survival.
