When the strength of the rock block is much higher than that of the matrix, and the block proportion is less than 70%, the uniaxial compressive strength of the sample shows an increasing trend with the increase in the block proportion [ 25 , 26 , 27 ], but when the block proportion exceeds 70%, the uniaxial compressive strength of the sample shows a decreasing trend [ 22 ].
