As shown in Figure 4A , there was a striking effect of context on learning (i.e., the DI) in males but virtually no effect of context in females for both single odor and 4-odor tasks; thus, the male-to-female comparison was highly significant ( p = 0.003 and p = 0.004, single and 4-odor tasks, respectively; two-tailed unpaired t-test).
