When considered jointly, depressive symptoms and/or antidepressant use were directly associated with WBC count in the unadjusted (β = 0.36, 95% CI: 0.21, 0.51) and adjusted (β = 0.15, 95% CI: 0.00, 0.31) models, although the latter relationship was of borderline significance.
