The results of the study by Strilciuc et al [ 22 ] indicated the following findings: compared to the placebo, the highest dose of Cerebrolysin (50 mL) had the lowest occurrence rate of SAE and non-fatal SAE, with a risk reduction of > 25%; the overall mortality rate showed a decreasing trend, with a risk reduction of 17%; Cerebrolysin demonstrated an advantage in reducing the risk of SAE in patients with moderate to severe stroke (NIHSS ≥ 8).
