In the second regression model, the first step was significant, F (8,1596) = 19.553, p < 0.001, R 2 adj = 0.085, and gender and religiosity were significantly associated with positive attitudes toward same-sex parenting, but being in a relationship and an being religious were marginally significant; age, level of education, political leaning and having children were not.
