What our data suggest is that although the larger grid provides more information due to the intrinsic larger number of test points (more than twice as many)—which is likely necessary for clinical trials when comparing pointwise sensitivity where small locus changes may be significant—for clinical purposes, the smaller grid seems to provide accurate enough information to characterize the retinal sensitivity.
