Conclusions The adsorption heat and free volume of hydrogen (H 2 ) in high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and ethylene–vinyl alcohol (EVOH) exhibit an increasing trend with rising temperatures, leading to corresponding changes in solubility, diffusion, and permeability coefficients.
