Non-parametric one-way analysis of variance (Kruskal-Wallis test) with Dunn‘s Multiple Comparison Test (significance level 0.05) was computed to detect statistically significant differences between the Ct values of the qPCR products between the control and infected samples, and the results were interpreted as follows: P < 0.001 = highly significant (***), P < 0.01 = very significant (**), P < 0.05 = significant (*).
