As expected, the ALV-J RNA could not be detected in CIAV mono-infected and mock-infected HD11 cells; on the other hand, the ALV-J viral load of co-infected HD11 cells was higher than that of ALV-J mono-infected HD11 cells at 12 hpi, and this difference was extremely significant from 24 hpi to 96 hpi ( Figure 1 B).
