Unlike the constant hospitalization rate recorded throughout the 3 years before the pandemic, immediately after the collapse of admissions an increasing trend occurred, particularly in SC (slope change, 11% per month, HRR 1.11, 95%CI 1.06–1.16), but also to a lesser extent in MM (slope change, 2% per month, HRR 1.02, 95%CI 1.01–1.03).
