In six reviews, the effect size favoured combination therapy with PRP compared to controls (from very-low to low certainty of evidence); in one review 29 a trend toward benefit of PRP+ microneedling over microneedling alone was observed, but the difference was of borderline significance (p=0.05; low-level of certainty).
