In line with this result ( Molla, 2016 ), also showed a highly significant effect of chickpea cultivars on the duration of days required to attain 90% physiological maturity and 50% flowering in southern Ethiopia.Inoculation with Mesorhizobium strains significantly (P ≤ 0.001) delayed both days to 50% flowering and 90% physiological maturity of chickpea plants ( Table 3 ).
