In a phase 2 DBRCT [134] , in the 100 mg group treated with cilofexor, total and primary serum bile acids decreased moderately while secondary bile acids decreased significantly, with no alteration in liver stiffness but a decreasing trend of fibrosis-associated markers in serum, TIMP-1.
