It was found that the negative SCD magnitude follows a decreasing trend when particle size increases, in a similar way to that reported in the literature for spherical NPs. 34 Similar effects have also been recently observed in microparticles. 16 A sharp drop in SCD can be observed for the smaller particles, and for larger particles beyond 300 nm, SCD may reach a plateau and become almost independent of size.
