On the other hand, the Aβ42 fibrils obtained after vigorous stirring at room temperature for 95 h still exhibited a fluorescence intensity enhancement when incubated at 37 °C alone, while the overall fluorescence intensity showed a decreasing trend when the synthesized GT-Au NPs were added for co-incubation, resulting in an 88.78% (95% Confidence Interval: 87.17–90.40%) decrease in the final fluorescence intensity compared with that of pure Aβ42 fibrils ( Figure 6b ).
