Future LD Incidence Our estimates of future LD incidence showed an increasing trend in the Eastern and upper Midwestern U.S. following more severe warming (Fig. 4 ), paralleling the present-day geographic distributions of habitat suitability and LD cases demonstrated in Figures 2 and 3 , respectively.
