In terms of the incidence of VTE at the five timepoints under examination, our observed cumulative incidence of VTE exhibited an increasing trend in-hospital, and at 30 days and 3, 6 and 12 months, for the > 80% laparoscopic approach (0.15%, 0.50%, 0.51%, 0.72%, and 0.78% respectively) and for the > 50% open approach (0.43%, 2.02%, 2.14%, 2.36%, and 3.38% respectively).
