The results of the pooled analysis showed an increasing trend in FEV 1 (L) between pre– and post–azithromycin treatment, specifically at the mid-term, where the pooled MD in FEV 1 (L) was increased by 0.22 L (95% CI = 0.05 to 0.39; P = .01; I 2 = 41.68%), manifesting considerable clinical significance.
