The incidences of viral upper respiratory tract infections (URTI) and influenza were generally comparable between age groups; however, there was an apparent trend towards an excess incidence of herpes zoster in the older age group versus the younger age group (3.37/100 person-years [1.27–8.99] vs. 0.76/100 person-years [0.36–1.59]).
