A parametric analysis of variance (ANOVA) with Dunnet’s post test was used to compare each study group with respect to the control group (for cell proliferation and cytokine release assays), and a Tukey’s post test for cell differentiation assays, where a positive and a negative control were compared; a value of p<0.05* was considered statistically significant and a value of <0.0005*** highly significant.
