According to the predicted climate change (RCP 6.0) scenario, the incidence of snakebite might increase in moderate altitudes in hilly habitats of Chattogram Division in the next 50 years (Figs 3B and 4 ), supporting the suggestion that the spatial distribution of snakebite might be altered due to global climate change [ 24 ], with an increasing trend in the future [ 76 ].
