As China enters a new stage of development and faces a new developmental pattern, the application of digital technology to advance the medical security system and enhance people’s health is practically significant for China to modernize the medical service system and actively and comprehensively promote healthy aging and the “Health China Strategy.” Based on this background, the present study aimed to use data from the 2020 China Health and Aging Tracking Survey (CHARLS) to empirically examine the influence that using mobile Internet has on the health of persons in their middle age and later years.
