Additionally, the analysis showed no significant impact in mental health and well-being with combined therapy, as GHQ-28 scores among 280 participants revealed score (mean difference: 1.71, 95% CI: -1.82 to 5.23), with a highly significant effect and no heterogeneity, pointing to a reliable benefit in mental health (Fig. 3 F).
