Subgroup Analysis No statistically significant interaction was found for the risk of the primary composite outcome in patients with COPD with age (<75 years or ≥75 years; P int =0.330), sex ( P int =0.896), CHA 2 DS 2 ‐VASc score <4 versus ≥4 ( P int =0.654), paroxysmal AF (versus all other AF types; P int =0.334), chronic kidney disease ( P int =0.149), and OAC ( P int =0.691), but a nonsignificant trend for a lower risk was found according to the prescription of BB at baseline ( P int =0.063; Figure 3A ).
