Population Trends The global population trends of shorebirds in Mongolia indicate that the majority of species are experiencing a decline, with 38 species (61%) exhibiting a decreasing trend, followed by 11 species (18%) classified as stable, 10 species (16%) with unknown trends, and 3 species (5%) showing an increasing trend (refer to Figure 6 ).
