Of the 12 ACEs, the lowest prevalence rate was found in incarcerated household members (0.28%), whereas the highest was observed in physical abuse (18.61%, Table S1). Associations between ACEs and pain Table 2 provides the prevalence of pain by number of ACEs, and we observed that an increase in the number of ACEs was associated with an increasing trend in the prevalence of pain.
