Highly significant difference was observed in the group of IHRPE where all-cause mortality and PE or CDT mortality were significantly higher in the pigtail treated group (21%; 5 deaths vs. 0%, p < 0.01, and 13%; 3 deaths vs. 0%, p = 0.01, respectively) ( Fig. 4 ).
