When testing the impact of body cues (BODY) and designated clip valence (VALENCE) on tic frequency in a cohort of participants from Experiment 2 (Figure 3b ), we observed a marginally significant main effect of BODY ( F 1,16 = 3.57, p = 0.07), with slightly (although not statistically significant) higher tic frequency during clips with bodily cues in each of the valence categories (positive: 0.32 ± 0.25 vs. 0.29 ± 0.24; neutral: 0.30 ± 0.25 vs. 0.28 ± 0.25; negative: 0.31 ± 0.27 vs. 0.28 ± 0.21 for body and no‐body versions, respectively).
