Our study, along with several other studies which reported differential NHL subtype risks for benzene-exposed workers ( 6 , 17 – 20 ), highlights the importance of assessing and reporting risk by disease subtype when possible, as there may be significant etiologic heterogeneity between different NHL subtypes.
