The global minima within parameter space consistently predict Δ E ads ‡ = 0 for x Pd ≥ 0.64, and while there is a slight trend in Δ E des ‡ and Δ E ss with alloy composition, the error bars encompassing the regions of 95% confidence almost entirely overlap with the 95% confidence interval for x Pd = 1.
