found that glycine intervention significantly reduced hypertension and dyslipidemia, which showed that rats fed 8% fructose water and 8% fructose water +1% glycine water in groups showed an increasing trend in systolic blood pressure after 3 months of feeding in the former but a significant decrease in systolic blood pressure after 4–6 months of feeding in the latter.
